Hall, Langlands pace Major Atoms’ victory

Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atom Warriors hosted the Cambridge Hawks last Thursday night, winning 6-1.

Jacob Hall and Chadd Langlands paced the Warriors’ attack with two goals apiece. Hall also earned an assist for a three-point night.

Ethan Scrimgeour and Cole Lewis added a goal and assist each, while single assists went to Connor McIntosh, Nole Musselman, Aubrey Carter and Zach McCann.

Owen Davey was outstanding between the pipes, allowing just one goal late in the third period.

MAJOR BANTAMS LOSE TO HUSKIES

Stratford Canadian Tire Major Bantams travelled to Hamilton last Wednesday night and lost 5-3 to the Huskies.

Haydn Shantz had a two-point night with a goal and an assist for Warriors, while Jacob McPhee and Andrew Maguire had the other Stratford goals.

Picking up assists for the Tiremen were Liam Taylor, Parker Gibbings and Dean Jackson.

The Major Bantams’ next league game was against Kitchener Rangers Sunday night at the Allman Arena, then they will participate in the annual Silver Stick tournament, which starts Saturday, Dec. 27 in Stratford.
