Tennis sessions being offered for youth

St. Marys Journal Argus

Youth age 12 and up are invited to come out next Thursday, July 31, for teen tennis nights at the courts (across from the quarry). All skill levels are welcome; members of the St. Marys Social Tennis Club and St. Marys District and Collegiate and Vocational Institute’s badminton and tennis teams will be on hand to provide instruction and guidance.

The session starts at 7 p.m. Another teen tennis night is planned for Thursday, Aug. 7, also at 7 p.m. But after that, with a planned start date of Monday, Aug. 11, the tennis courts will be out of use for an extended time due to resurfacing and other renovations.

No pre-registration is required for the teen tennis nights, and it’s free to participate; just bring a racquet and a few balls if you have them!

For more information, contact the tennis club at stmaryssocialtennisclub@gmail.com or Andrea Macko at 519-280-1240.
