Warriors post great results at St. Anne’s Invitational

CLINTON – St. Michael Warriors posted two firsts, five seconds, and two thirds at the St. Anne’s Invitational track and field meet here Tuesday, May 6.

It served as a good tune-up for the Huron-Perth meet here on Tuesday and Wednesday (May 13-14) of this week.

Top-six performances last Tuesday were turned in by the following Warriors.

First - Craig Klomp, Senior boys 1,500 metres.

First – Erin Kuepfer, Midget girls triple jump.

Second – Sami McGuinness, Senior girls 1,500 metres.

Second - Junior girls relay team (Avery Wedow, Kristin Looby, Erin Ingoldsby, Janieka Droog).

Second - Erin Ingoldsby, Junior girls 300m hurdles.

Second - Avery Wedow, Midget girls triple jump.

Second - Megan Dale, Junior girls 1,500 metres.

Third - St. Michael Junior girls relay team (Erin Kuepfer, Tristan Hartfiel, Lauren Denstedt, Mariah Looby).

Third - Kristen Looby, Junior girls 800 metres.

Fourth - Garrett Yost, Midget boys 800 metres.

Fourth - Lucas Lamondin, Senior boys shot put.

Fourth - Ashley Walters, Junior girls shot put.

Fourth - Emily Drake, Junior girls 1,500 metres.

Fourth - Avery Wedow, Midget girls discus.

Fourth - Janieka Droog, Junior girls 200 metres.

Fourth - Marissa Horenberg, Midget girls javelin.

Fifth - Emily Drake, Steeplechase.

Fifth - Brooklyn MacLean, Midget girls discus.

Fifth - Marissa Horenberg, Midget girls shot put.

Sixth - John McCarthy, Midget boys 100m hurdles.

Sixth - Anthony Gioia, Midget boys long jump.

Sixth - Erin Kuepfer, Midget girls long jump.

Sixth - Colton Fountain, Junior boys shot put.
