2013 Rotary golf tournament contests and hole-prize winners

The Rotary Club of St. Marys held its annual golf tournament last Thursday, June 13 at St. Marys Golf and Country Club.

The following are the tourney contest and hole-prize winners.

Putting contest -- McDonald’s Independent –- 4 X 18 holes plus cart (St. Marys G&CC) -- Len Hawkins, Jason Brown, Gerard Roy and Chris Parker.

Chipping contest -- Jackson’s Pharmacy -- $50 gift certificate (draw) -- Len Hawkins.

Longest drive on No. 6 –- Daryl McClure Accounting –- Pail with five bottles of wine -- Brett Harlton.

Closest to the pin on No. 9 –- Mayfair Financial –- $50 gift certificate (Jackson’s Pharmacy) -- George Murray.

Longest drive on No. 15 –- Ideal Supply –- Cooler with beer (20 cans) -- Bruce Disher.

Closest to the pin on No. 16 –- Jackson Pharmacy –- $50 gift certificate -- Craig Bartlett.

Most honest golfers -- Little Falls Car and Pet Wash –- 4 X $30 car wash coupons -- Grant Barton, Homer Rath, Gary Cumming and Ron McDonald.

Runner-up low net score –- Waghorn, Stephens, Sipos and Poulton Law Office –- 4 X $25 gift certificates at St. Marys G.C. pro shop -- Dale Hunt, George Pleil, Doug Fellum and Ryan Harris.

Low net score (10-under-par 62) -- JMRD –- National Bank -- Wealth Management –- 4 X $100 cash -- Jaden Ropp, Kevin Thompson, Daryl Thompson and Jeff Stewart.

Auction –- Blue Jays tickets ($200 value) –- Baseball Hall of Fame –- four tickets (any game except NY or Boston) -- Gerry Teahen.
