Teasdale collects two gold, silver and bronze

LONDON - Over 40 Middlesex swimmers attended the 12-and-Under Celebration Invitational Jan. 19-20 here at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.

Middlesex swimmers picked up 27 medals -- four gold, 11 silver and 12 bronze. They had 98 top-eight finishes, and nine new club records were set.

Top 8 Stratford swimmers

Girls, 10 years old:

Bronwyn MacLeod – seventh, 50m fly.

Ella Johnson – gold, 200m breast; silver, 100m free, 100m breast; bronze, 200m individual medley; fourth, 50m free and 100m back.

Emma Gaffney-Ladd – fifth, 50m back.

Lucy Finkelstein – silver, 50m fly; sixth, 200m free; and seventh, 50m free.

Boys, 9:

Nolan White-Roy – fifth, 50m breast; seventh, 50m back and 100m back.

Boys, 11:

Cameron Teasdale – gold, 50m free, 50m fly; silver, 100m free; bronze, 200m free and 200m individual medley; and eighth, 100m back.

Boys, 12:

Jared Armstrong – fourth, 50m breast; and fifth, 200m breast.

Middlesex Swimming is a year-round competitive team offering professional coaching and technique instruction, with programs in London, St. Marys and Stratford.
