Braydon McCann was the star of the game, making several post-to-post stops, including a spectacular glove-hand save as the Stratford Hiller Realty Minor Peewees defeated West London 3-1 in recent Alliance action.

McCann stopped 35 shots to keep his team in the game and earn the victory. Colton Fountain scored a first-period powerplay goal from a behind-the-net pass from Tim Clay. Joey McIntosh put Stratford up by a goal, unassisted. McIntosh then scored an empty-netter to secure the win, with Jarrett Bogdon assisting.• Stratford Perth Auto Dismantlers Major Atoms lost 9-3 to Brantford on Sunday, Dec. 20.

Clayton Lewis had two goals and one assist for Warriors, Nathan Hall added one goal and one assist, while Dalton Smith earned two helpers and Mitchell Casey had one.

On Saturday, Warriors downed Hamilton 4-1 with Tanner Johnson, Hall, Smith and Joe Yundt all scoring goals. Lewis collected three assists, with Smith, Yundt and Nolan Grasby each picking up one helper.

This past Sunday, the Major Atoms defeated the London Jr. Knights 5-2 with Hall recording two goals. Johnson and Lewis each clicked for one goal and one assist, Grasby also had a goal with Bradi Pauli assisting.
