The Crabby Joe's Peewee MD Warriors claimed gold in the Ingersoll Tournament this week.

The Warriors finished the tournament with a 4-1 record, defeating the London Thunder for the championship after losing to London in regular play.

The first game against St. Thomas was no contest for Stratford as the Warriors skated to a 6-1 victory.

Nolan Murray earned a hat trick in the win, Brady Lewis notched two, and Ryan Campbell had a single. Assists went to Tim Lyoness, Tyler Strawbridge and Jamie Nafziger.

Stratford's only loss of the tournament came in their second game against the London Thunder as they were downed by a score of 5-1.

The lone goal was scored by Nathan Strik, assisted by Ryan Campbell and Justin Bieber. Jimmy Hawley had a solid game on defence.

Stratford rolled over Ingersoll in the third game, downing them in a 4-0 defeat.

Nathan Strik found the mesh twice, while Brady Lewis and Justin Bieber added singles. Brandon Becker earned the shut-out.

Stratford would dominate Dorchester in the semi-finals, with a 7-0 win.

Brady Lewis and Ryan Campbell each struck net twice, while Marshall Metcalfe, Nathan Strik, and Nolan Murray had one apiece. Lewis, Justin Bieber, Tyler Strawbridge, Nathan Ruston, Matt Jackson, and Strik contributed assists.

Ethan Feltz played a perfect game in net to notch the shut-out.

In the exciting championship game, Stratford claimed gold with a 4-2 win over the London Thunder - the team who had beaten them earlier.

Down two goals in the first period, Marshall Metcalfe started the scoring for Stratford when he fired a slapshot from the blueline that found the back of the net.

Late in the second period Ethan McCarroll fed the puck to Chris Dickenson who evened the score at two with his explosive wrist shot.

Nolan Murray's goal in the third period gave them the lead and the win. But Stratford clinched the game with a great goalie deke by Ryan Campbell on a penalty shot for their fourth an final goal.

Brandon Becker made some fabulous saves to contribute to the win. While Ryan Campbell earned MVP honours for the tournament.
