The Stratford Memorials Peewee boys got back on the winning track Monday night by defeating the hometown Waterloo Twins 18-3.
Cody Patterson picked up the win allowing only three hits as he struck out five and walked one.
Jared Culliton doubled, tripled and homered to lead the Stratford attack. Kirk Brown and Tim Ruston both singled and homered and Michael Lagace-Roote also homered in the win.
On Tuesday night at home Lagace-Roote tossed a one-hitter in leading Stratford to a 27-0 wipeout of visiting South Woolwich Warriors.
A two-out single in the fifth inning cost Lagace-Roote his no hit bid but he still finished with 15 strikeouts and only one walk.
Brendan Childerley led the Stratford attack on this night with three home runs. Tim Ruston tripled and homered, Kirk Brown tripled twice and singled and Jonathan Steven added a pair of doubles and a single to the 20-hit Stratford onslaught.
