Minor Atom Warriors improve record to 4-1

The Stratford Minor Hockey Association Minor Atom AA Warriors earned a pair of victories last weekend.

On Saturday, the Minor Atom defeated an aggressive Cambridge team on the road 4-2.

Ryan Becker made some big saves to earn the victory with goals coming from Korbin Dench, Cody Gosselin, Jacob Middleton and Andrew Bogdon.

Middleton also added a pair of assists with singles helpers going to Ryan Ballantyne, Zach Goodhew, Mark Childerley, Jacob Smith, Bogdon, Adam Zehr and Ethan Adair

Stratford returned home on Sunday and blasted Hamilton 10-0.

Childerley, Middleton and Bogdon each had a hat trick in the win.

Adair rounded out the scoring for Stratford, which also got assists from Ben Ingoldsby, Goodhew, Zehr, Smith, Blake Pickering and Sam Hopkinson.

Jack Bryan turned away half a dozen scoring chances to earn his second shut out of the year.

The Warriors now sit at 4-1 on the season.
