SMBA Senior Rookie Final Day tomorrow

The Stratford Minor Baseball Association's Senior Rookie/Mosquito division will hold its season-ending playoff day tomorrow with 10 games split between Dufferin Park in Stratford and the Hall of Fame diamonds in St. Marys.

The Senior Rookie division, which has two teams from St. Marys, played a nine-game regular season with Stratford Farm Equipment leading the way with an 8-1 record followed closely by City Cab at 7-2.

The top-rated team kicks things off on Saturday taking on the eighth seed St. Marys Stonetown Foodland at Dufferin Park at 9 a.m.

At the same time in St. Marys, City Cab will face Mitchell and Company.

Games will continue throughout the day in both municipalities in intervals just under two hours until the bronze medal game at 4 p.m. followed by the championship at 5:45 p.m. Both medal games will be held at Dufferin.
