Open house for YMCA CEO

Stratford Gazette

The Stratford YMCA is holding an open house April 1 to say goodbye to CEO Jim Bonk.

Bonk, who is headed for the Guelph YMCA, spent the last 14 years as head of the local Y.

Over his years, he helped dramatically increase membership though several initiatives, such as the establishment of the fitness centre, a complete renovation of the locker rooms, an upper addition with wheelchair access and the creation of a partnership with St. Marys.

The open house will run from 3-6 p.m., with YMCA members and the community invited to come out and wish Bonk well.
