Great start for U-8 Bunnies

St. Marys Journal Argus

The U-8 Major Bunnies had a fabulous start to their season on Saturday, Nov. 9, showing good things come to those who wait.

The girls were strong and held their own against a solid Seaforth team. Olive Aarts was an aggressive forward, while Jorja Cousineau and Mallory Daykin were fearless in net.

Goals were scored by the mighty Ella Taylor, the powerful Jenna Hutton and the fearless Raella Brodhagen. The girls all worked together, and are looking like they’re going to become a powerful Snipers team.

The U-8 Bunnies then travelled to Dorchester on Sunday, Nov. 10 and played a fantastic game!

Raella Brodhagen scored first and set the pace for Ella Taylor. Both girls scored twice this game all the while checking and digging for the ring.

Snipers’ fifth goal came from a fierce and mighty Charlee Pickering. Awesome defence by Cortney Jorja, Josie Linton and Kiersyn Wood.

The girls had their game faces on and played awesome! Way to go Snipers!
