Doors open

Stratford Gazette

The Doors Open committee works closely with Stratford Tourism Alliance to bring Stratford’s heritage to light during a one-day free event on the first Sunday in June as part of Heritage Weekend.

The aim is to welcome the public into spaces generally not open to the public.

In 2015 it will be 70 years since the end of World War II and as our theme, we would like to visit buildings and sites that relate to this historic event in Stratford or key activities taking place during that time period.

We are looking for buildings, including homes built in the mid-forties, willing to welcome visitors for one day, as well as those with artifacts or displays that could be included.

If you are interested in participating and have ideas about this, please send your suggestions to Cathy Rehberg at Stratford Tourism Alliance, crehberg@visitstratford.ca, or call 519-271-5140.
