Funds needed

Stratford Gazette

The volunteer Civic Beautification and Environmental Awareness Committee (CBEAC) is raising funds for the “River Lights Project,” the aim of which is to purchase LED lighting for the Tom Patterson Island and other areas along the river.

With a start-up cost of approximately $10,000, we are appealing to the citizens of Stratford and surrounding areas to support our endeavours. A donation of $25 or more is eligible for a tax receipt and your donation can be sent to the address below.

Cheques should be made payable to the City of Stratford, which holds the fund for use by the project committee. If we receive your donation by March 22, we will install the LED lighting on Tom Patterson Island in time for the Swan Parade.

Thanks in advance for supporting our beautification efforts.
