Making a difference

Stratford Gazette

I would like to thank everyone who gave to House of Blessing during 2013. Our community was blessed greatly from your generosity.

There are so many who gave of their time to volunteer at House of Blessing, who donated food, clothing, furniture and money.  Thank you hardly seems enough.

With your help we were able to provide 5,898 people with food, to give 365 families furniture, to provided 172 children with everything they needed for the first day of school and to make Christmas morning special for 579 children, teens and adults.

Thank you to our community, the churches, schools, businesses, factories, service clubs and local citizens. You have made such a difference in the lives of so many.

Life throws us all curve balls and that’s why we do what we do. House of Blessing is a safe place of comfort when times are tough. Our goal here is to help alleviate some of the stress and worry that many feel in their day to day circumstances.

As we move into 2014 we have already experienced the reality of why we do what we do. We are so blessed to have the ability to help people in their time of need.
