Sometimes when customers/clients enter your place of business, they carry concerns, sometimes sadness, with them. You greet them with a smile and a kind word and at least for a few moments you make them feel happier.
An irony may be that as you are being kind, your cares may be greater. If so, it is hoped that each evening you look into the mirror and say, “I am wonderful,” for you truly are.
Will you be recognized as such? Not always. Maybe not nearly enough. Yet, if you can continue to act so, definitely. Chances of that are increased if, wherever you work, bosses and employees share the smiles and kinds, in any form, with each other. Smiles, laughter, kindness .. all can be contagious.
Your smiles do affect us. They do immeasurable good. Thank you, to each and every one of you. Every day, you are wonderful.
