We were “touched by an angel” this past Sunday in the downtown area of your fair city. We were on our way to the Festival Theatre, and being new in town, somewhat confused at an intersection, when out of the blue a shining angel appeared to guide us on our way.
He was dapperly dressed completely in black, perfectly groomed and he topped the ensemble off with a black hat. He just glowed with kindness. He smiled, asked us if we needed to find a good place for breakfast, and then pointed us towards Madeline’s Diner, where we enjoyed a superb meal.
Our family enjoyed two performances that day. After seeing a great production of Fiddler on the Roof we wanted to come back for Romeo and Juliet, as my children had just read it in literature class.
Having a short amount of time between performances, we asked at the theatre if they could help us find a good steakhouse, and get us there and back before the next performance. Not only did they get us reservations at Foster’s Inn, they even called a taxi for our convenience.
We were much impressed by both the performances and the helpful citizens of your fine city.
