Swans a hit

Stratford Gazette

The Volunteer Civic Beautification and Environmental Awareness Committee thanks all the citizens from Southwestern Ontario and the USA that attended our annual parade of the swans.

It was so gratifying to see so many people of all ages observe this unique “strutting of the swans.”

Our committee is pleased to annually organize this truly national event with the generous support of our partners – Tim Hortons, Long & McQuade, the Scouting movement, Community Living Stratford and Area, and the city’s Community Services department.

Special thanks also goes to the Stratford Police Pipes and Drums for adding that extra touch of class.

Thanks again everyone. Enjoy and protect Stratford’s world famous swans.
