Volunteers heart and soul of CNIB

Stratford Gazette

Dear editor:

In honour of National Volunteer Week, the Canadian National Institute for the Blind would like to thank its wonderful volunteers.

CNIB has always been an organization of people helping people, and nowhere is that more evident than in the incredible work of our volunteers. Our volunteer team stretches from one end of the country to the other – and is made up of Canadians of all ages and from all walks of life. They’re truly the heart and soul of our organization, and they do everything from producing accessible library materials, to coordinating CNIB events, to working with people who are blind or partially sighted right in their own homes and communities.

To become part of our passionate volunteer team, drop me a line at lisa.mason@cnib.ca or give me a call at 519-685-8420 ext. 5131.

Lisa Mason,

Coordinator of Volunteer Services, CNIB London
