Celebrate Wales

Stratford Gazette

On March 1  all those folks that are Welsh or are associated with the Welsh will be celebrating St. David’s Day.

In the past few years a Welsh Society has been started in Stratford and we celebrate this day by honouring St. David our patriot Saint of Wales.

It is a time to reflect on our roots and practice our mother tongue (Welsh) as well as meet new and old friends.

We welcome anyone who has an interest or association with Wales.

We will educate, celebrate have some food, fun and fellowship. If you or anyone you know has any connection to Wales please have them get in touch with us before March 1 by contacting Carys Wyn Hughes at 226-921-1428 or email Eleri at epinder@cyg.net.

Diolch yn fawr iawn.
