Car stolen overnight from Nissan dealership

Stratford Gazette

A car was stolen over night from the Nissan dealership on Highway 8 just outside of Stratford.

Perth County OPP were dispatched around 12:30 a.m. Monday after an alarm activated. They did not observe any suspicious activity but determined a vehicle has been stolen from the lot.

The vehicle is a 2006 BMW 750i, dark grey in colour. It has four doors and Ontario licence plates with the number AVYX843 attached. It also has after-market rims.

Police are requesting anyone who may have observed suspicious vehicles or persons at the Nissan dealership around the noted time, or anyone who has information about the theft, to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.  Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), and you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000
