Quiet determination

Stratford Gazette

Members of the Stop Violence Against Women Committee Perth County took to the streets on Tuesday, Nov. 25 in support of the United Nations Day to End Violence Against Women.

They marched silently throughout the downtown waving placards and signs that brought attention to the issue of  gender-based violence.

According to the group, globally, 70 per cent of women report experiencing physical and/or sexual violence.
