No buses in core

Stratford Gazette

Re: Back to the drawing board, news, Aug. 14

Councillor Famme describes the congregation of buses in the core of the city behind city hall as the “heart blood for downtown merchants.”

In my view a mass of running buses, spewing toxic fumes, is not the heart blood but the terminus of the colon.

The farther from the city core the better. Buses can load and unload passengers in the core but there is no compelling argument to idle them there.
