Mother Nature's cruel joke

St. Marys Journal Argus

Winter's not over yet.

Stratford and Perth County could get hit with as much as 10 centimetres of snow from Wednesday morning to Thursday afternoon, according to Environment Canada.

Blowing snow is expected to make area roads less than ideal, and as of Wednesday morning Perth County OPP were already reporting a number of minor collisions.

"As the day progresses poor visibility due to snow and strong winds may result in hazardous driving conditions," say police.

Tuesday's high of 7 degrees Celcius will soon be a distant memory, as the temperature is expected to drop down to -11 C by this evening, with winds gusting up to 65 km/h making it feel considerably colder.
