Blood donor clinic Monday at Pyramid Centre

St. Marys Journal Argus

Due to extreme weather this winter, Canadian Blood Services has cancelled 25 blood donor clinics across southwestern Ontario. This has impacted collections and now the agency needs higher-than-normal support from the community to meet patient needs.

Canadian Blood Services sent out a message today asking the public to "Please support our clinic on Monday, March 3, at St. Marys Pyramid Recreation Centre from 4-8 p.m., and future clinics in your community."

Anyone wanting to donate blood is encouraged to "make an appointment to save a life" by visiting Canadian Blood Services online at www.blood.ca or by calling 1-888-2-DONATE (1-888-236-6283). Walk-ins are also welcome at Monday's Pyramid Centre blood donor clinic.
