Snow squall warning for Stratford area

Stratford Gazette

Environment Canada has issued a snow squall warning for the Stratford area as of 10:40 a.m. Friday.

Stiff and cold westerly winds continue to generate lake effect flurries and snow squalls off the relatively mild open water of Lake Huron.

Snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are possible by this afternoon in the heaviest snow squalls.

Motorists should be prepared for sudden very low visibility on area roads.
