Paws in park

Stratford Gazette

The Stratford-Perth Humane Society held one its largest fundraisers of the year Sunday afternoon in Upper Queen's Park.

An estimated $11,000 was raised at the local shelter's Paws in the Park, which attracted dozens of people with their four-legged friends for a three to five kilometre walk around the Avon River. The walk was followed with a dog agility demonstration by Dreamweavers Dog Training, draw prizes, and gifts for top pledge earners.
