Friday Night Campfire

Join us Friday August 16th from 7:30-10 p.m. for a good old fashioned campfire, equipped with hotdogs, smores, and entertainment by the Mills Brothers. We’ll provide the refreshments; you bring your own lawn chair. The cost for this program is $5 for members, $10 for non-members.

Get that junk out of your trunk

The Friendship Centre is organizing a Trunk Sale in conjunction with the Car Show on Saturday August 24 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Milt Dunnell Field. Load up your trunk with your unwanted treasures and sell them at our Trunk Show. Parking spaces can be purchased in advance for $15/space, day of for $20/space.

Mackinac Island Fall Colours Tour

Get away with the Friendship Centre and Great Canadian for a four day, three night tour to Mackinac Island from September 23-26. Pricing: $645 Twin, $605 Triple, $575 Quad, $795 Single. Deadline to register is August 16.

Prime Rib Dinner tickets on sale

Tickets are on sale for our annual dinner on Wed. Sept. 4 from 5-7 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance. Take-out is available. There will be entertainment.

Spanish & French Classes available

This fall the Friendship Centre is offering Spanish and French classes for adults 18 and older. Learning a second language is one of the best ways to maintain or improve brain health. Spanish classes will be offered Wednesday evenings beginning September 18 and French classes will be offered Thursday evenings beginning October 3. Both sessions will run for 8 weeks.

Swimming hours

The quarry is open daily from 1-8pm until Monday September 2. Cadzow is open daily from 1-5pm till Saturday August 31.
