Murder suspect Michael Schweitzer appeared by video in Stratford’s provincial court Friday to have his criminal proceedings adjourned one month.
The request was made by lawyer Amy Robern, who was acting as an agent on behalf of Schweitzer’s London-based defence team.
Robern said the accused and his counsel require additional time to review 350 pages of new disclosure and 121 audio/visual statements.
Schweitzer is charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder in the shootings in Milverton last December. He remains in custody at the London-Middlesex Detention Centre.
He will appear again by video in the Ontario Court of Justice on July 19 at 10 a.m.
