In a rematch on Wednesday night at Packham Road, the visiting 37’s scored in the top of the seventh to tie the game 3–3, forcing extra innings for the second straight night.

After giving up a run to the 37’s in the top of the eighth, a Corey Tuffnail two-run, walk-off home run gave Cubs a thrilling 5–4 victory and improved their league record to 8-0–1.

Tyler Randerson worked all eight innings to record the pitching win. He allowed eight hits, struck out eight and walked two.

The Stratford offence was led by Cody Werner with a home run and double, Adam Cronin singled and doubled, and Trevor Sauder rapped a pair of singles.
