Stabbing leaves man in critical condition

A 22-year-old man is in critical condition in London hospital after being stabbed at a residence in Stratford Tuesday afternoon.

The victim has been identified as Keith Pushelberg of Stratford.   

His younger brother, John Pushelberg, 20, is charged with attempted murder. He remains in custody and will appear in court Monday for a bail hearing.

The Stratford Police Service continues to investigate the incident, which occurred at an apartment complex at 333 Home St. at approximately 3:45 p.m.

Early Thursday afternoon police remained on the scene, the building's front entrance cordoned off with police tape.

Police are requesting that anyone who may have witnessed the incident – or have any information regarding the case - contact Sgt. Rob Byatt at 271-4147 ext. 116.
