Lights out at Molly Blooms

Stratford Gazette

In celebration of Earth Hour on Mar. 23 at 9:30 pm, Molly Bloom's Irish Pub will host “Lights Out with Mill Street,” a candlelit party that organizers hope will connect the community in a symbolic environmental effort.

Held in hundreds of bars and restaurants across Canada, the 60 minute observance will mark the launch of the program Pint for the Planet, which will see 50 cents from every Mill Street pint sold donated to Earth Day Canada. The charitable campaign runs from the moment the lights go out for Earth Hour until Earth Day on April 22nd.

Live entertainment will be provided by local band The Tonics.
