Choir offers Handel’s Messiah

The Stratford Concert Choir, under the direction of guest conductor Imre Olah, continues its 31st season with an offering of Handel’s Messiah, to be held  Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Central United Church.

Composed in just four weeks, Handel’s Messiah has enthralled and transported people of all faiths for more than 250 years.

Soloists for this performance include Anna Tamm Relyea (soprano), Amanda Wilhelm (contralto), Christopher Mayell     (tenor), Gary Relyea (bass), Shawn Spicer (trumpet) and Ian Sadler (organist).

Advance tickets are $20 and available from choir members and at Blowes Stationery, Hallmark Cards, Anything Grows and the Stratford Tourism Alliance.

Tickets at the door are $25 with the choir offering free admission to children 16 and younger.
