Health unit looking for a cat after biting incident

Stratford Gazette

The Perth District Health Unit is looking for a cat involved in a biting incident to complete an investigation.

The incident took place on Monday at around 6 p.m. at the corner of Ash and Dufferin streets in Stratford.

The cat is described as mainly white with black markings on the body and no collar.

The Health Unit is investigating this incident to check if the cat has up-to-date rabies shots. If the cat is not found, the person who was bitten may need to receive rabies shots.

Anyone who has seen a cat fitting this description should call 519-271-7600 ext. 252 or after hours or over the weekend at 1-800-431-2054.
