Still a laugh-a-minute trio

St. Marys Journal Argus

The Paul Brothers and Shirley — from left: Leon, his wife Shirley, and his brother “Duck” (Gerald) — who kept generations of Canadians laughing through a career of over 60 years in show business, had the tables turned on them on Saturday, Sept. 15, when Gerald’s daughter Terri was the one telling the funny stories.

The Township of Perth South, which officially opened a park on the site of a former hotel in downtown Kirkton last year, held a dedication of three oak trees in the park last weekend — planted in honour of the entertaining trio, who lived much of their lives in Kirkton but all now live in St. Marys.
