Kitchener novelist and poet Marianne Paul will be reading from her works at the Stratford Public Library auditorium on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free and all are welcome.
When not at her typewriter, Paul is an avid kayaker, particularly on the Grand River where it runs through the Kitchener-Waterloo area, and an equally avid advocate of literacy. She has written two books about literacy. Her other books include “Dead Girls Diaries,” “Tending Memory” and “Twice in a Blue Moon.”
Her most recently published book of poetry is called “Above and Below the Waterline.” S
he is the recipient of the 2006 Canadian Aid Literary Award, the Okanagan Fiction Award and the Kitchener-Waterloo Arts Award for Writing.
