Stratford Northwestern Secondary school students are the first-ever winners of an international research competition. The GLINT Twitter Challenge took place on World AIDS Day, Dec. 1. Teams from around the world competed, answering questions via Twitter about HIV and the people and places most affected by the virus. The winning team consisted of, back row from left, Erik Van Dijk, Kenny Edwards, Sherry Mason, Jackie Laing, Karen Congram, Milos Tausan, Morgan Kneider Patterson; and in front from left, Ben Congram, Amanda Pearson, Sam Hall and Michelle Hicks. The students will donate the winning $1,000 to the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
