Basketballer gets benched

St. Marys Journal Argus

Q-Mack (Quincy Mack) and J-Box (Scott Jackson) of the Ultimate Class Trip performed at assemblies at both St. Marys DCVI and South Perth Centennial on Thursday, April 26. The show, which dealt with themes like confidence and bullying, featured Q-Mack performing basketball, juggling, and balance feats such as this impressive trick of balancing a wooden bench on his chin.

J-Box is one of Canada’s most prominent human beatboxers, as well as a finalist on the televised Canada’s Got Talent. His live performance on the show will air Sunday, May 13 on CityTV, at which time he’ll compete for the ultimate prize of $100,000. J-Box entertained the students with sound effects, music, and even an instructional segment where he taught the audience how to make drum beats with their mouths.

The pair performs over 400 live shows across Canada and the US every year.
