Major Peewees blasted

Stratford Gazette

Playing their first game since Jan. 7 showed as the Scotiabank Major Peewees took it on the chin Sunday afternoon at the Allman.

Starting off strong, the Warriors looked determined, which quickly turned as they found themselves trailing 3-0 by the end of the first period to London Gold.

The league's leading offence of the Jr Knights didn't end there as they were able to convert on three of seven powerplay opportunities over the remaining two periods to skate away with an 8-2 win.

Scoring for Stratford was Jay Schooley with a shorthanded goal and Luc Fisher tallied with a powerplay goal. Danny Rose assisted on Fisher's goal.
