Plywood horses stolen from local business

Crime Stoppers is looking for help in solving a theft that occurred recently in Stratford.

Sometime between Friday, March 11, and Monday morning, March 14, a pair of Homemade Rearing Horses were stolen from in front of Bells Custom Leather at 302 Erie St.

It is believed the horses were taken overnight Friday. The two horses were made of plywood, were three-feet-by-five-feet long and painted black. These horses were placed on each side of the front entrance of the store.

Anyone who can provide any information about this theft is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). You never have to reveal your name. You won't have to testify in court, and you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000. Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to Bell call display.
