On Thursday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. at the University of Waterloo Stratford Campus, the City of Stratford will host a town hall on the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) and the city’s current bid to be recognized as the world’s number one smart community.
The event will be casual, providing a snapshot of the broadly based smart city innovations that are going on all around us in Stratford, and the value of international recognition that the ICF story brings to the city, businesses and residents.
The event will be an opportunity for citizens to learn a bit more about the ICF, as well as to be able to have first hand engagement in the process.
The city is partnering with local tech company Powernoodle to utilize its innovative cloud-based platform to allow citizens to give feedback on the current bid and ask any questions. This feedback will then be included in the city’s bid to be recognized as a top seven smart community, the next step in the process to become number one.
The event is open to all members of the public.
