Bruce Latronico

At his residence, on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, Bruce John Latronico of Listowel and formerly of Wingham, age 47 years.

Beloved husband of Anna Clothier. Loving father of Sarah and Benjamin both at home.

Son of Judy (Wilt) Latronico of Wingham and son-in-law of Mike and Carol Clothier of Barrie. Brother of Karen and Jim Seili of Wasaga Beach and Marilyn and Tim Cook of Midland. Brother-in-law of Helen Clothier of Barrie and Donna Latronico and fiancé John Dodsworth of Brantford. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his father Wilford Latronico in 1991 and his brother James Latronico in 2006.

Visitation will be at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Friday, Jan. 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. Reverend Jeff Hawkins officiating.

Memorial donations to an Education Fund for the Latronico children would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Please make cheques payable to Anna Clothier.

Annie Irvine

Annie Irvine passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015 at the age of 96.

Annie was a faithful member of Atwood United Church where she played organ for many years and prior to that was organist at Donegal United Church. Annie had also played organ at Caressant Care Nursing Home and for many funeral services at the former Peebles Funeral Home.  She was a member of Atwood United Church Women and the Listowel chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Beloved wife of the late John Irvine, who predeceased her in 1987. Loving mother of Betty and Paul Clarke and Jim and Bonnie Irvine. Special grandma of Scott (Christie) Clarke, Tim (Debbie) Clarke and Todd (Dale) Irvine; and great-grandma of Mitchel, Michaela, Beckett and Griffith Clarke. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Annie was the last surviving member of her family being predeceased by her parents Emerson and Susannah (Pearson) Vipond, her sisters Mary (Leslie) Wightman and Margaret Vipond, and brothers Reid (Dorothy) Vipond and Jack (Edythe) Vipond.

Relatives and friends were invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood (519-356-2382) on Friday, Jan. 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Annie’s life was held at Atwood United Church on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. with Ruth Long officiating. Spring interment in Donegal Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Atwood United Church or a charity of one’s choice appreciated by the family.

James Barbour

James (Paddy) Allan Barbour passed away peacefully at home in Owen Sound surrounded by love on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015 at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of Anastasia. Dear father of Denise (Leona), John (Kim), Kimberly, Randy and James. He will be lovingly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sisters Isabell (Earl) Young and Phyllis (the late Chuck) Holmes.

Predeceased by his first wife Mary (Vankoughnet), parents Elwood and Sarah Barbour, brother Ken and sister Helen.

As per Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a service until the spring.

Memorial donations to the Royal Terrace Resident Council Fund, Palmerston or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.

William Jones

William James Mann (Bill) Jones passed away unexpectedly at the John M. Parrott Centre on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 at the age of 95.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Jones and father of the late James (Jamie) Jones. Devoted father of Pat (the late Bob Long) and Tom (Shirley).

Beloved brother of Eleanor (Richard). Proud grandfather of Karen (Joe), Michael, David and Debbie (Steve). Great-grandfather of Jillian (Jack), Ashley (Jonathan), Brian, Jamieson and Claire. Great-great-grandfather of Sophia, Philip and Nathaniel. He will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be in Listowel at a later date.

Joy Kerwin

Kathleen Joy (Tinkess) Kerwin of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at the age of 55.

Loving partner of Dave Ross of Listowel. Daughter of Ken Tinkess of Fordwich and the late Kathleen Tinkess. Mother of Dwayne and Julie O’Grady of Kitchener, and Melinda Rose and Lorne Lawton of Victoria, B.C. Stepmother of Kimberley Ross of Sarnia, Deborah Ross and Mark Hunter of St. Thomas, Bonnie and Tom Blais of Goderich, and Billy Ross of Goderich. Grandmother of Jordan, Nancy-Anne and Jesse Lawton, Michael and Kassandra Ross, Donavan and Damian Ross, Journey and Abigail Blais, and Melilah Ross.

She will be remembered by her brothers and sisters, James Tinkess of Duncan, B.C., Allan Tinkess, Cathy and John Borton, and Melody and Fraser Hayden, all of Listowel, and May and Dave Albrecht of Vanastra, and their families.

A celebration of Joy’s life was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 11 a.m., with visitation for one hour prior. Reception followed at the Listowel Legion. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
