Young performers raise dollars for children's fest

Stratford Gazette

A celebration of the arts was held Thursday evening at Stratford Northwestern Secondary School.

Individuals and schools from across Stratford and surrounding area came out to perform either a song, dance, a piece of theatre, or a musical number.

The event raised $1,234 for the 14th World Festival of Children’s Theatre, which will be coming to Stratford in 2016. Avon Maitland and Huron Perth Catholic schools will be experiencing children performing from all over the world.

There will be workshops, performances, opportunities to host a county and much more.
