Brightening your day

Stratford Gazette

Family Services Perth-Huron is once again selling autumn crocuses that will not only brighten your garden this fall, but help support volunteer hospice services in the community.

The bulbs are now on sale through to mid September at two locations: Cozyn's Garden Gallery in Stratford and at Klomp's Nursery Garden Centre on Highway 7. They will also be available this upcoming Saturday and again on Aug. 30 at the St. Marys Farmers' Market. They are $4 each or four for $15.

Hospice volunteers with Family Services are specially trained to offer companionship, emotional support, and respite care to individuals and their families who are living with a life-threatening or terminal illness, in their own homes. These services are all offered free of charge.
