John Huberts

John Huberts of Moorefield passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the age of 83.

Beloved father of Allen and Crystal Huberts of Moorefield, Brian and Jennifer Huberts of Moorefield, Henry and Brenda Huberts of Ancaster, Elaine and Ken Neilmans of Wawa, Bill Huberts of Moorefield and Rosie (Karr) Huberts of London.

Loving grandpa of Alisha, Kelly and Natasha Huberts; Ryan, Isaac and Josiah Huberts; Justin and Natalie Neilmans; Carlin, Tyrone and Kirk Huberts; and Crystal and Ken Siller. Great-grandfather of Ethan.

Brother of Ben Huberts of Moorefield and Bonnie Broekema-Top of Brampton. Brother-in-law of John Visscher of Kitchener.

Predeceased by his sister Aafke Visscher, brother Albert Huberts and his wife Grace, and sister-in-law Jantina Huberts

The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Thursday, May 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pastor Andrew de Gelder conducted the funeral service in Drayton Christian Reformed Church on Friday, May 9 at 11 a.m. Interment in Drayton Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Drayton Christian Reformed Church would be appreciated by the family.

Allan Koch

Mr. Allan George Koch of RR 1 Gowanstown passed away, surrounded by his family, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Friday, May 9, 2014 at the age of 87.

Beloved husband of Joyce (McKnight) Koch. Father of Gerry and Shirley Koch of RR 1 Gowanstown, Anne and Glen Omand of RR 1 Listowel, Sandra DesChamp and John Hunt of Ethel, and Karen Murray of Edmonton, Alberta. Grandfather of Melissa Koch of London, Jolene Koch of RR 1 Gowanstown, Seth and Christina Omand of Fordwich, Scott and Laura Omand of RR 1 Listowel, Shawn and Angela Omand of Conception Bay, Newfoundland, Zeke DesChamp and Sarah Parker of Toronto, and James, Dillon and Josie Murray, all of Edmonton. Great-grandfather of Sonya, Nathaniel, Jared, Liam, Benn, Sawyer, Maison, Madison and Joshua.

Predeceased by his parents Jacob and Susan (Habermehl) Koch, his sister Cora Yungblut, and his son-in-law Sean Murray.

Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Thursday, May 15 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wallace Twp. on Friday, May 16 at 11 a.m. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Memorial donations to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wallace Township,or Listowel Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.

Mary Graham

Mary Graham of Walkerton, formerly of Monkton, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the age of 84.

Mary was the owner/operator of Mary’s Truck Stop in Monkton for many years. She volunteered at the Right to Life Second Hand Rose store in Walkerton and loved to attend the senior dances at the local Legions.

Beloved wife of the late Murray Graham, who predeceased her in 1985. Loving mother of Carole and Mike Plunkett, Lee Pridham and Paul Hansford, Diann and Rick Davidson, Marie Graham and Pat Dwyer. Special grandma of Stephen and Christine, Tina and Buttch, Cindy and Dale, Angie, Sally and Rob, Adam and Lisa; and great-grandma of Devin, Natalie, Max and Kane.

Dear sister of Fred, John, Jean, Olga and Florence. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Stephen and Patsy (Tym) Saiko; her daughter Joan in infancy; son-in-law Doug Smith; brothers Mike, Peter and Eddie; sisters Ann, Alice and Elizabeth; and special friends Ed Wadell and Charlie Collins.

Relatives and friends were invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood (519-356-2382) on Friday, May 9 from 3-8 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Mary’s life was held at Monkton Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 10 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Sarah Thompson officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation appreciated by the family.

Robert O’Neil

Robert O’Neil, formerly of Monkton, passed away peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Listowel on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the age of 87. Robert was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Monkton.

Beloved husband of Hazel (Young) O’Neil, whom he married in 1994. Father of David and Nancy, Rick and Liz, Paul and Joanne and Todd. Stepfather of Doug and Sharon Ward, Neil Ward and Brenda and Lyle Ruby. Grandfather of 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Fondly remembered by his brother Neil and Barb, and sister-in-law Harriet O’Neil.

Predeceased by his parents Herb and Edna (Court) O’Neil, his first wife Velma, a daughter in infancy, his brother Ray, sister Eunice Wilson and her husband Jack, and sister-in-law Wava O’Neil.

Relatives and friends were invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood (519-356-2382) on Friday, May 9 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Sarah Thompson officiating. Interment in Dorchester Union Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Parkinson Society appreciated by the family.
