A cultural experience

Stratford Gazette

The Avon Maitland District School Board hosted Tribal Vision, a Haudenosaunee dance troupe from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, for two performances last week.

Called Visions of Turtle Island, the performance included live singing and dancing along with video and image presentations to help explain the dances and to illustrate the cultural experiences and stories of First Nations people in Canada.

The group performed Anne Hathaway Public school Friday evening, April 11. The night before they were at Seaforth Public school.
