Santa makes early stop in Shakespeare

Stratford Gazette

Santa Claus was right at home in the wicked winter-like weather when he visited Shakespeare on Saturday for the village's third annual Christmas parade – an initiative of the Shakespeare Men's Club.

New participants in this year's procession through the residential neighbourhood included the Stratford-Perth Musuem, Rose Marie's Family Restaurant, members of the Fryfogel Arboretum committee, and Sprucedale school.

The Arboretum float consisted of three trees decorated by students at Sprucedale.

Following the parade, families had a chance to visit with Santa Claus at the community centre.
