Douglas Alexander Dunbar died peacefully at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 after an unsuccessful battle with cancer and surgery complications. He was 78.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia; his son Ken (Judi) and daughter Kathy (Rob) Faulkner; grandchildren Amanda Dunbar, Meaghan (Rob) Blohm, Benjamin, Haley and Makayla Faulkner; his sister Mary (Ted) Richards and sister-in-law Reta Dunbar.
Predeceased by his son Sidney, daughter Alice Rose, parents Alice and Alex Dunbar, brothers Jim and Jack, and sister-in-law Anne.
Douglas taught elementary school for 36 years, 31 of those at Englehart Public School.
The funeral service was held at Good Shepherd Church on Tuesday, Nov. 19 with Rev. Stephen Crosby officiating. Interment followed at the Englehart Cemetery.
Marjorie (Eckert) Orr of RR 1 Atwood passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013 at the age of 84.
Marjorie was a faithful member of Atwood Presbyterian Church. She worked tirelessly with her husband John on their farm and in her flowerbeds, but her greatest legacy was her love for her family.

Step-grandma of Jim (Michelle) of Listowel. Great-grandma to Emma, Lacey, Kolton and Carter. Step-great-grandma to Zach, Jenna, Nicholas and Tyson.

Relatives and friends were invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood (519-356-2382) on Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Marjorie’s life will be held at Atwood Presbyterian Church on Wednesday Dec. 4 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Andrew Thompson officiating. Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Margaret Ann Sorensen (nee Campbell) suddenly on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound at the age of 63.
Dear mother of Tammy Lynn (Fetter) Murr and Dawn Marie Fetter both of Palmerston. Stepmother of Shona Fetter. Loving grandmother of Willow, Londyn and Raven.
Loved sister of David Campbell of Listowel. Fondly remembered by her large extended family, whom she loved dearly as well as her many friends.
Marg was an active business entrepreneur and the proud owner of Rite Trak Realty in the town of Palmerston, which meant so much to her.
Predeceased by her parents Roy and Joan (Baulcomb) Campbell.
To honour Marg’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family shared fond memories and refreshments with family and friends in celebration of her life at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Saturday, Nov. 30 and on Sunday Dec. 1.
