Food, fun, and fundraising

Stratford Gazette

St. Michael Catholic secondary school held a barbecue fundraiser for the United Way of Perth-Huron Thursday.

The event was organized by St. Mike's Grade 12 business leadership class.

The cafeteria was shut down for the day in order to encourage students to purchase from the BBQ.

The students also organized a raffle, sold candy, and held a shootout with Stratford Cullitons players in the gymnasium.

All money raised goes towards the United Way's 2013 campaign goal of $1.115 million.
