A big cause

Stratford Gazette

The Heart & Stroke Foundation's annual fundraiser involving a most-unusual 30-seat bicycle wrapped up in Stratford Wednesday after four days.

Organizers say about 300 people participated in the Big Bike event, helping the organization close the gap on its local target of $65,000 – money that goes towards heart disease and stroke research.

The Big Bike rolls on to Woodstock late this month and then to Clinton and Listowel in June.
